I emigrated from Zambia to Canada when I was four years old. I have a BA (Creative Writing, University of Victoria) and a MPhil (Creative Writing, University of Queensland). I’ve worked in book publishing or graphic design for 20-plus years. A lot of my poems have been published in literary magazines in Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia.

My book-length publications include: Dangerous Crossings!, Never Going Back, Water Wow!: An Infographic Exploration, and Eat Up!: An Infographic Exploration of Food, City Bugs and City Critters. My passions are writing, low-impact living, southern Africa, and my wonderful family.
